Custodians of the Zambezi
Luxury with a conscience
We believe in responsible luxury. Every piece we create is sourced and crafted with the utmost care for wildlife, the environment, and the communities involved in our process.
Farming and community
Fine craftsmanship begins with sourcing high quality, raw materials. ZAMBEZI GRACE isa cofounder of the highly successful Nile CrocodileConservation Program. The Nile Crocodile Conservation Program provides secure, fair-trade employment and skills-training to more than 400 people from the local rural community, which is otherwise impoverished. As a business, we are committed to local hiring, fair wages, and the training and development of our employees.
Our farms on the Zambezi River have returned more than 10,000 crocodiles to their natural habitat andhave witnessed the wild population quadruple since the 1970s. Today the species is alive and thriving (See the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, Nile Crocodile, Crocodylus Niloticus. According to the International Union of Conservation of Nature, the Nile crocodile has transitioned from critically endangered, to endangered, to species of least concern). The upliftment of the local community is a welcome by-product of this conservation success story
